| And now we do the dance of joy.
Not really.
So, yeah. Long story short, I may be leaving my current job soon, because I may be getting better one. More work, but better pay to start, and I end up making over 50k a year after I've been there a year. Sounds like a plan to me.
Other than that, I now have another dog in addition to the husky. This one is a pit-bull/german shepard mix. Sweet little puppy. He's going to be huge though.
Also, a cat. My husky was barking at said cat, and I went out to see what the problem was. So, I have a cat now.
Life goes on.

| So, yes, an update. Really, nothing interesting going on. Least not in my life.
Here's why I'm posting this though:

Gee, yet another "God told me to kill my kids" bitch. This is going to get a little caustic, so bear with me.
First, why hasn't anyone seen the pattern here? Religion motivates this shit all the time. People kill their own kids, other people, anything for their little delusion. And I know what you're thinking, "Well, yes, but that's only a small minority. Most religious people don't do those things." And you know what, you're right. Doesn't change the fact that religion should be outlawed. I am not fucking kidding here. Think about this; drugs only motivate a small percentage of users to commit acts of violence, yet the fact fact that a few people react badly to them is used to justify making them all illegal. Ok, fine, I can sort of understand that. Of course, the same arguement, that a small percentage of religious people become so mind-fucked that they think killing their kids is ok, is used to excuse religion. We cannot have it both ways. Either something is ok because only a small number of people are negatively affected by it, or it isn't ok for the same reason.
Next up, the whole "not guilty be reason of insanity." Fuck that. How about "More guilty by reason of insanity?" If someone is crazy enough to drown their kids because they think that some invisible father figure wants them to do that, well, I don't want them in my fucking neighborhood.
